Lush Love Lettuce Face Mask Review

halli hallo....

My lovely boyfriend bought me this as a gift, it's the first Lush face mask I have tried. I'm a big fan of Lush in general in particular their bath bombs so naturally I was super excited about this product.

Here's what Lush say about Love Lettuce:
"An effective, exfoliating Face Mask which gives normal to oily skin a softened, smoothed and radiant glow. This mask is a seaweed gel with exfoliating granules through it. Ideal for those who want to clear away dead skin and brighten the face, whilst also gently treating it to softening ingredients."

Ingredients listed:
Agar Agar Gel, Kaolin, Honey, Fullers Earth, Glycerine, Almond Oil, Ground Almond Shells, Ground Almonds, Lavender Oil, Chlorophyllin, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume
*occurs naturally in essential oils

The Review:
The product is Love Lettuce Exfoliating Face Mask by Lush, it comes in a little 75g tub and is available to buy at your local Lush store or online here for £5.95.

I'm thrilled to say that this product lived up to expectations and beyond. What I like to do is apply the face mask to clean skin (avoiding the eye area) just before I have a bath and then rinse it off whilst in the bath (in total leaving the face mask on for approx 20-30mins).

This face mask leaves my skin feeling baby soft, not just immediately after having washed it off either - it lasts. The fragrance is simply heavenly, not too strong but defiantly noticeable. I can detect lavender and almond scents from it. As for texture it is very grainy which is something I really like, it feels natural and I like that about it, you don't feel like you've just threw a pile of chemicals on your face. In terms of storage the product should be chilled so I have mine in the fridge (which therefore creates a lovely cooling effect when you first apply it). In all I would most defiantly repurchase this and recommend it to others. By far the best exfoliating face mask I've tried so far.

Pros:
- does exactly what it claims
- smells great
- feels gentle on skin

Cons:
 - short ex-priory date

Overall Score: 9.5/10

Introducing Gigi

Let me introduce you to the cutest cat in the WORLD!

  Gigi

Now, normally I'm more of a dog person however this cat has swayed me, when Jamie (a cat person)suggested getting a kitten I wasn't sure and it took me while to actually want to give a cat a home but I finally caved and boy am I glad I did as I'm not sure I could live without her.

Little Gigi Badger Face came into world July 2012 and into our home September 2012, she was absolutely tiny.

When we first got her she was just 8 weeks old & easily fit into the palm of my hand. She knows her own name and 98% of time will stop whatever she's doing and come running to you when called. She has a great little character and knows what she wants. To me she's not like other cats as she doesn't beg for my attention or food (which is something I find annoying in cats), all she wants is love and since she's got plenty of that she is a very happy kitty indeed.

Currently she's 9 months old and as adventurous as ever (if it were up to her she'd be up on rooftops) and getting excited for her move across Europe (Yes, she's getting a PET PASSPORT).

Her favorite hobbies include;
Talking aka meowing (she loves to be vocal - I genuinely believe she thinks she can talk)
Attempting to catch flies
Watching the washing machine spin
Sleeping in fleece blankets
Jumping into puddles
Sitting in awkward places
&
of course playing with her abundance of toys

Her favorite things to eat/drink:
Cat milk
milk drops
Cheese biscuit treats
Tuna
